Things I Would Do For My Kids.

  1. Piggyback-ing from Bishan Park to AMK Sec.
  2. Carrying dirty, wet socks in my pockets.
  3. Allowing the use of MY hp to call mummies.
  4. Asking really lame 'IQ' questions, hoping they will enjoy laughing at ya.
  5. Playacting with them.
  6. Catching them.
  7. ...

I wish I had did this earlier. The camp is but a distant memory now.

Anyway, had been wanting to post these cute kids dialogues.

[At Sentosa, after swimming]* LX - 我的鞋有沙!

*LX is my fav kid. She's Malaysian. Doesn't understand English. Always kaykay understand you. Always trying to pull my pants down. T is her elder cousin, who always look after her, always squabbling with her, yet always ganging up with her.

[At Sentosa, on the bus] Kids squeezing themselves to make space for half a seat. Me - Huh? TJ [behind me] - 喔, 不用. Me - -_-''' Absolutely 烂掉!!!

[At Sentosa, having lunch] Kid 1 - Korkor, Me - 不懂. Me - 什么? Kid 2 - 當歸 [some herb] la. Kids [after long guesses] - Give up. Me [sniggling] - Yandao la!

Xmas Party - One bo sim fellow complaining on another. Haha. After coming in empty-handed for his first Mumbo Xmas, Ricky got what he probably deserved by random picking MY gift. How suay. Had been telling SK how unlucky she will be if she ever gets my gift. Ha ha ha. Okay, I probably deserved something for packaging a yellowish, though unused gift for Xmas. Heh.

New Year Party - Those crazy fellows are contemplating an underwear party, after a successful pyjamas party last year. Just when you thought they couldn't be any more insane, they come up with such ideas. Oh man. Walking around in Pasir Ris Park with lacy underwears worn on the outside. *shiver with fear*

Jx's Chalet - I would probably spend more time here. Afterall, this is a one year once gathering and seeing that I'm leaving on the 10th Jan, it's probably wiser to stay with the Wise Utd gang. Steamboat, BBQ, KTV, gambling, liquor, Winning 11, midnight soccer. Everything is but for gals. No wonder gals shun our gatherings. Poor bachelors we are.

Long post this is, because WoW server is down ATM. WTS. WTB. LFG. LFM. AOE. DPS. DOT. OMG. WoW language.

The Ambush

It could have turned bad so nearly, but luck evens itself out eventually [I have been suay enough this year]. Just when I thought lady luck was again forsaking me at the most vital of moments, she shone right at me and turned my rotten insides into something quite wonderful. Phew. Not quite sure what I'm describing down here.

Xmas.

Whoa, alright. I've got nothing to blog about. Just feel like doing so because I haven't been blogging for a long time. Probably the whole world has been coming in and checking for new posts everyday, only to be disappointed. Alright, I'm actually wrong. Who blogs or reads blogs during the hols? I mean, hols lae. Fun and party. Who still bother about blogs? An update - been busy with 'I need more mana', 'The spell's not ready yet' and 'It's still charging'. And also with the INSTEP thingy. Visa application, air tickets purchase, shopping for cold wear, medical checkup, applying leave of absence, getting a house, etc. Super busy. Happy note - Met up with her on Tuesday, it's 2 months after our 1st date. It was very nice, her demanding me to drink the liang cha she bought for me every 30mins [had a seriously bad cough and sore throat for the past week], helping me to compile a San Diego to-bring list, shopping for X'mas gifts. I can feel she's getting less reserved towards me - we were walking along closely, and she doesn't mind physical contact and sharing stuff, etc. And she's more spontaneous after the date, initiating to sms me every now and then[which in the past is often not the case]. Nevertheless, I missed out on a Xmas' Eve with her, with her deciding to work at that crazy place, Crazy Horse that is. Working as a waitress in a restaurant with topless performance and perverted managers, I can't help but wish she could quit the job instead. Anyway, I bought some baking stuff and a cute container, hoping that tomorrow's efforts in baking some chocolate cookies would turn out well. Equipped with 2 ovens and a bakery mum, confidence is quite high at the moment. Then I would wait for her on Xmas' Eve till she knock off and walk her home. Sweet hur?

Pre-camp.

I'll write something about the camp, mostly the highs and the not-so-lows. Camp mah, remember the good times, don't let the bad ones linger in the mind too long. I arrived pretty late that night [as usual], when we were supposed to do our group corner and stuff. What else could be a more erxin obstacle? IIC la. Anyway, upon reaching, the group corner has been nicely done up with crayon-filled mahjong papers and full of ka-zhua related stuff already. The camp's theme this year was 'Pests' and the 4 groups were 'Ka-zhua', 'Hor-sing', 'Gao-heah' and 'Chi-leng' respectively. At the briefing, it was quite a sad view. The size of the circle which instructors sit in seem to shrink by half [compared to last year], and the amount of kids per group seems to be lesser as well. The programmes were much better though, with ball games and outdoor cooking on the first day, outdoor activities at Sentosa on the second, and a super fun obstacle course on the third. The average age of my group [compared to last year] has also decreased significantly, due to the retirement of similar-age peeps to more backstage roles. Nevertheless, being instructors have to be the most fun of all - you play with kids, you don't like you can slack, the kids remember your names, etc, etc, etc. Sleeping at around 3am, after deciding which ice-breaking games to play and which cheers to teach upon the kids' arrival, we woke up the next morning in partially-shag mode. Hopefully I can recall as much fun stuff as possible as I continue to type out this 5-days journal. It's been fun, can't wait for Saturday - the kids' X'mas Party.

Mumbo Hangover

Shag-out. Feel lost. I miss the kids. While I recover from this mumbo campover, this will have to do for now. Till then.

Kiddies.

Quick now, before I forgot my earlier phone conversation with a 6-yr old boy with an ultra-sweet voice. Earlier today, at the community centre, SK gave me a mission - persuade this 6-yr old boy to stay overnight during the camp. My coarse (some would say) and monotone (others would say) voice wouldn't make it, but SK just don't understand it. So here goes 'hello boy boy, where's your mummy'. Me - Boy boy where's your mummy. He - Er..the..they..went wo..work. Me - Ohh, so what time will they come back. He - They..er..come back..er..when..er.. Me - At night hur? He - No. They come back..er..when..er..they want..er..when I want..er..to eat. Me - Ohh. (thinking I must have sound like a suspicious sweet-offering stranger) Me - Your parents called me to say you are afraid to stay overnight hur? He - Yah. Me - Why? He - ... Me - The whole world is there leh, I mean, a lot of kids are there, and ya they are same age as you. So don't be afraid k? (SK was gesturing me what to say all this while) He - Okay. Me - HUH?! So you are coming for camp le ar? He - Yah. Me - I thought you say you are afraid? (Surprised by the response) He - Just now afraid. Now not afraid. Me - Ohh. Okay lor. You tell your mum that I called (give him my name) and that you want to go camp k? He - Okay. Me - Okay, see you on Friday. He - Byebye. Alright now, if I don't see this fellow come Friday, I will pull his hair out. PS: I will be away from tomorrow till next Monday, and probably need a day or two to recover from some camp hangover. So, this blog would be left vacant for this period. Tata. Mumbo go, mumbo go, mumbo all the way!

An End.

As promised... [cont'd from here]

Elsewhere.. AMN - MUM, AH-MA drink o-leh-di. Meanwhile... Finally...how can we forget those crazy fools. Forgive my impudence. I pity you if you don't understand a shit. It's hard to fill anyone in on this increasingly-crapped show. Enjoy the jokes (or so it seems) as hard as possible.

Olip.

As fun as it is, dancing (especially hip-hop) is just not for me. The isolation exercises that we did only confirm my muscles inflexibility. My head simply couldn't flow along with the music and my shoulders could hardly move with the beat. It's fun, although it has left me an aching waist now. Another night of fun with chats and water bombs and hardcore suayness. Upon arrival, I could smell a shit from faraway, but sensing that I might be smelling wrongly, I sat down and joined in. It was getting disturbing but I couldn't make out the source of that foul smell despite shifting my buttocks' weight around. Well, I couldn't, because I'm sitting on the shit! So again I was being ridiculed at, but then with JS around, who wouldn't?

Wa Lau. Still On WoW.

Aiyah. Pictures only la. Gryphon RidingGryphon riding on the submit of Dun Morgh. And this is just a snapshot lor. This game beats all the Diablo2s and Baldors' Gates and 'run around hack monster' games. HippogryphA darker view, in the icy ranges of Elven Lands. The big bird I'm riding is called a Hippogryph. This is getting like Hermione riding Hedwig the owl, ya? subwayFear of height? (sounds like some advertising) We've got the WoW subway. An invention out of Dwarven land, this thing runs on steam and is intelligent enough not to crush you should you happen to be on the rails as it run overs you. StormwindThe homecoming. This mage has adventured on her own and with others on foreign terrorities, mixing with the likes of Gnomes, Dwarves, Night Elves as well as the Warsong Orcs. This day she came back to Stormwind, land of the Human race, a better fighter. Magnificant view, isn't it? Oh, and did I mention that this kinda left, right, left, right posting of pictures is damn leh cheh? Applause can?
